Other Support Resources (Not Confidential)

The resources below are not confidential, but will handle your information with sensitivity and discretion and will take reasonable steps to maintain confidentiality to the extent possible. Examples of situations where confidentiality cannot be maintained include circumstances when the law or Stanford policy requires disclosure of information (for example in situations of alleged sexual harassment or discrimination) and/or when disclosure by the university is necessary to protect the safety of others.

  • BeWell is an incentive-based health and wellness program that offers courses and services to Stanford staff and faculty to help them take steps to improve their health and wellbeing.
  • Staff in the Dean of Students, Residential Education (for undergraduates), and Graduate Life Office (for graduate students) provide direct support to students on a wide range of issues, including personal and health issues, roommate problems, academic challenges and financial difficulties. They also can help students understand and navigate the other support resources that are available for them. 
  • Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) supports postdoctoral scholars  in all aspects of their training as they develop their independent careers. It also offers support, consultation and conflict resolution for postdocs and their mentors. (Reach out to OPA for support) 
  • The WorkLife Office provides support and resources to faculty and staff to help meet the ever-changing and competing demands of career, family and life, professional growth and development.
